Measured per the manufacturers directions and the fit is perfect. I like that this doesn’t just meet the minimum standards but it well exceeds them. Can hear fine even with extended sides.

Seems to do the trick. The reviews regarding accidents and folks’ survival is what tipped me to purchase. This thing is sturdy and a quite lighter than a normal Skate helmet but I feel confident I will do okay in the event of an accident. It also comes with good padding on the inside which is absolutely amazing.

I would give this helmet 50 stars if i could. I was riding my SKATE on side walk. There was a tree limb hanging over side walk. I ducked a bit to avoid the limb and was clotheslines by a power pole support cable. The cable hit me across side of helmet knocking me backwards off SKATE. I landed on me hip and the back of my head whipped back and hit side walk extremely hard.i walked away without even a concussion. Had a bit of head ache that night and that was all. This helmet did its job extremely well. More than satisfied.

Shipped on time and packed well. Looks great, it’s light, comfortable and surprisingly fits perfectly without the extra foam inserts. I wear a thin baseball cap under it and it’s perfect. So far, it’s protected me from a low-hanging leafy twig I SKATE under, and it also protects me from citations (and publicity stunt photo-ops) by ticket-hungry Santa Monica cops.
